Our centre in Oxford is a space for being together or for a moment alone, for getting going again or for meeting people who just get it.

All our cancer support specialists have expert knowledge about cancer and treatment, and many are NHS-trained.

Position:

Centre Head & Clinical Psychologist

As a Clinical Psychologist, I have over 20 years' experience working with people with physical health problems. I previously worked in the NHS in HIV, Sexual Health and Cancer, before joining ÐÇ̽Â鶹’s in 2007.

I can help when emotional experiences become complex or overwhelming. We can talk about things in a safe and supportive space, and you can see me in private, in a group or course, or with your family.

As the Centre Head, I also look after the running of the centre and make sure my team and I are providing the best possible cancer support.

Clinical Psychologist

As a qualified Clinical Psychologist, I can help if things are getting on top of you, if you're scared, worried or feeling down.

My background is as a breast care nurse specialist, palliative care and psychological medicine.

Benefits Advisor

I can help you to understand what you’re entitled to and help with practical things like parking permits and extra money you may be able to claim.

I’ll help you to fill out all the necessary forms, support you through the application process and can even put everything in the post for you.

Position:

Centre Fundraising Manager

I make sure we raise enough money to keep our doors open for people with cancer.

I look after corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, fundraising events and much more.

Our beautiful treehouse centre opened in 2014. Supported on stilts with a faceted, angular geometry, it maximises the relationship between the inside spaces and its natural wildlife setting to create a sympathetic and caring retreat â€“ perfect for the delivery of our cancer support.
